It looks like Fortnite’s Tilted Towers could be destroyed yet again

Just last month, players finally got to see the return of Fortnite‘s Leaning Tower landmark in Epic’s hugely popular battle royale game after nearly three years. However, data researchers have discovered evidence that Epic is planning to destroy the Leaning Tower again.

Tilted Towers was introduced to Fortnite in Season 2 and quickly became known as the most unlucky point of interest in one of the best multiplayer games on PC. It has been affected by earthquakes, meteorites, volcanoes, and even an attack by a killer purple mass. It has been replaced by futuristic and historical versions, or just buried under sand or snow.

After some teasing, the original Leaning Tower finally returned last month – but if those who leaked and checked the data are correct (via Fortnite News), the milestone could be lost. affected by another Roland Emmerich-level disaster very soon. Fortnite fans like @koooooomar have been predicting that a new series of earthquakes will hit the island, thanks to Imagined Order’s digging efforts and more craters and sinkholes will appear around the map.
As spotted by leaker @FortTory, three major craters are about to emerge – which will swallow several buildings – forming a triangle that perfectly covers the Leaning Tower and only the Leaning Tower. Given the landmark’s previous fates, it seems Epic is alluding to them or alluding to the impending doom of the Towers.
In addition to the massive storms sweeping through the island, you can feel the tremors from the earthquakes right in the game – though whether they happen or not is random.
All in all, it’s entirely possible that Tilted Towers might end up shutting down again – unless Epic is playing above our expectations. Either way, we’ll probably find out before the end of Chapter 3 Season 1 next month.
