One Minecraft player showed off their incredibly intricate and gigantic build of a working, in-game version of the popular word puzzle game Wordle. One crafty and inventive Minecraft player has built a fully-functional version of the hit word-puzzle game Wordle in-game using Redstone. This is hardly the first time that Minecraft players have used the game's many decorative and functional blocks to recreate a game. One Minecraft player famously built an entire chessboard so that they and their friends could enjoy playing the game within a game. Minecraft is perhaps better known for its player creations than its designed "campaign." While many players do enjoy building up their resources to the point that they can fight (and slay) the Ender Dragon, many more Minecraft players prefer to avoid these conflicts altogether and spend their time building. Minecraft's sandbox-style gameplay, which comes complete with a pacifist creative mode, allows for players to design, build, and share incredible creations with their friends and the internet at large. One Minecraft player and Redditor mattbatwings2 shared their massive build that replicates the experience of playing the word puzzle game that has swept the internet by storm, Wordle. According to mattbatwings2, the build took 16 hours to complete over two days, which is quite impressive given how complicated the build appears to be. The creation holds a 2D matrix with the hidden word on one side and the player guesses on the other side. Players in the comments were quick to praise mattbatwings2's design and creation, in particular, how difficult it was to build the Redstone circuits on top of the massive scale of the build. With how popular Wordle has become in recent weeks, it's no surprise that it has begun to creep into other games. Along with various copycat versions of Wordle, references to the game have begun to crop up in other open-world and sandbox games. The massive popularity of Wordle led to the game being purchased by the New York Times for a hefty sum of money. But now players can enjoy it in their Minecraft Rug should they choose, simply by downloading mattbatwings2's world.
